Digital X-Rays

Our center uses the latest in digital x-ray technology. Digital x-rays offer a detailed image of your entire mouth and also deliver 90% less radiation than traditional film x-rays. X-rays play an invaluable role in the diagnosis of periodontal problems as well as provide a clear picture for one of our dentists to accurately diagnose the problem and provide clear treatment regiments.
We place a small sensor in your mouth and then an x-ray beam is sent through your teeth and bone and onto the sensor, which records the image of your teeth and bone and sends it to the computer.

Fissure sealants

Dental sealants are materials placed in these pits and fissures to fill them in, creating a smooth surface that is easy to clean. Dental sealants are mainly used in children who are at higher risk of tooth decay, and typically they are placed as soon as the adult molar teeth come through.

Fluoride Treatment

Fluoride is a very easy and effective way to help harden your child’s tooth enamel (strengthen tooth enamel) and to increase resistance against acids in the mouth and tooth decay bacteria. It can be obtained in two different forms which are topical and systemic.
Topical fluoride is applied directly to the teeth, for example in the form of tooth paste or mouth rinse or during fluoride treatments in our dental clinic. Systemic fluoride is swallowed, perhaps in the form of fluoridated water or as dietary fluoride supplements which we can prescribe if necessary.

Teeth Cleaning

We provide our patients with the luxury of Ultrasonic Scaling. It is more comfortable for patients and allows for the scaling process to be completed faster than having to ‘scrape’ tooth surfaces like the conventional scaling process.

Teeth whitening (Bleaching)

Want a brighter smile ?
When it comes to tooth-whitening , you’ve got two options: in-office-based teeth bleaching or at-home care.
Teeth whitening done by your dentist can get teeth brighter faster. The bleaching solution is usually much stronger than at-home kits. Also, heat, light, or a combination of the two may be used to speed and intensify the whitening process.

Treatment of gum disease and mouth infection

Treatment may be performed by a dentist or a dental hygienist. The goal of periodontitis treatment is to thoroughly clean the pockets around teeth and prevent damage to surrounding bone.
Gum disease can develop easier in deeper pockets due to the extent that plaque collects in these deep pockets. If the oral exam reveals the need for tooth scaling or root planning, these services are performed in lieu of or in addition to the routine cleaning.

Gummy Smile Correction
A gum lift or gingivectomy is a procedure that can be done by a dentist to reshape the gums to provide a more pleasing smile. Gums are reshaped for numerous reasons: some people have gums that have not receded after the permanent tooth erupts, while others have lips that allow a lot of gum to show when a person smile. In some cases, gums can recede over time and expose more of the tooth surface than is desired.

Crowns & Bridge

Crowns are an ideal way to rebuild teeth which have been broken, or which have been weakened by decay or a very large filling.
The crown fits over the remaining part of the tooth, making it strong and giving it the shape and the contour of a natural tooth.
Full porcelain e.max crowns and zirconium crowns are the most modern fixed dental restoration work in aesthetic dentistry.
During your first visit the dentist will prepare the teeth to provide an easy fit for the Crowns/ Bridge. An impression of your teeth is taken and used to construct your Crowns/ Bridge. Temporary crowns are then fitted onto the teeth. On your next visit the dentist removes the temporary and fits the permanent Crowns/ Bridge.

He will separate the tissue connecting the tooth to the bone and then remove the tooth. Sometimes the dentist will cut the tooth into smaller pieces to make it easier to remove.

Special care for pregnant patient

During a patient’s first trimester, initiate a preventive care program consisting of plaque control and oral hygiene instruction. Simple scaling and prophylaxis may be accomplished, but no elective treatment should be started. Only emergency dental needs should be considered during this trimester.
The second trimester through the first half of the third trimester is the safest time to provide dental treatment. Periodontal maintenance and preventive care and simple restorative procedures that will eliminate potential problems and control active disease may be performed. Complex and elective dental care is best deferred until after the baby is born.
In the third trimester, scaling and prophylaxis may be repeated to minimize hormonal gingival changes.
Emergency dental treatment should be provided, as the mother’s severe pain, infection, or both can cause problems for the baby.
